1How long does it take to replace strings?
Strings are normally available within 24 hours of you dropping them off. Do you need them sooner? Rush service is also available.
2What do you use for equipment?
All stringing is done on a Constant Pull electric stringer. The stringer that I currently use is the Gamma Progression II ELS.
3Where are you located?
We are located in West Arvada, Colorado.
4Do you offer drop-off/pickup?
At this time we only offer delivery services for bulk orders placed by teams and/or tennis clubs.
5Do you offer a referral program?

Absolutely! For every 3 new people you refer to Oak Tennis, you'll get a free racquet restringing!

Also, the person you referred to Oak Tennis will be %15 off their first stringing order!

6Strings 101
  • Thinner string generates more power.
  • A stiffer stringbed tends to produce more spin.
  • The more elastic the string, the more tension loss in the racquet after the string job.
  • Lower string tensions generate more power.
  • Higher string tensions allow for more ball control.
  • Decreased string density (fewer strings) generates more power.
  • Thinner string generates more power.
  • A longer string (or string plane area) produces more power
  • Softer strings, or strings with a softer coating, tend to vibrate less.
  • More elastic strings generate more power.
7Racquet 101
  • A heavier frame generates more power.
  • A heavier frame vibrates less.
  • A stiffer frame generates more power.
  • A more flexible frame transmits more vibration to the arm than a stiff frame.
  • A stiffer frame transmits more of the shock load to the arm than a more flexible frame.
  • A stiffer frame provides a more uniform ball response across the entire string plane.
  • A larger frame (either be being longer, or by having a larger hitting surface) generates more power.
  • A larger frame is more resistant to twisting.
  • A longer frame generates more velocity and therefore more power.
  • The string bed in a longer frame allows the generation of more spin due to increased velocity.
  • A head-light, flexible frame is better for your arm than a stiff, head-heavy frame.
